ACE Cooks

Today we have been busy making a vegetable curry. We thought carefully about the method, the equipment we might need and the ingredients before heading to the cafe to get cooking!

Firstly we washed and prepared the vegetables. We peeled and sliced the carrots, chopped the celery and diced the onion.

After that, we heated the pans with some oil before adding in the onion, garlic and ginger to gently cook. Next we added in the curry powder, stock and chopped tomatoes to begin making the sauce.

Then we added the vegetables including peas to the sauce and left it to simmer for about 20 minutes until the vegetables had softened.

Lastly, we served it with rice and tasted it. As you can see lot’s of happy faces enjoying the curry. It went down a treat!
